New Classes for 2025 at the Mt Alford Community Hall

New from January 28th 2025 Mt Alford community classes

Learn to paint and draw with Nick at the Mount Alford Community Hall. Classes run on Tuesday evenings from 6.30-8.30pm and only cost $10 per session, or $90 for a full school term. The classes are aimed at adults, and young adults (16+) when accompanied by their parent or guardian. The classes are funded in part through the ‘Be healthy and Active’ programme operated by the Scenic Rim Regional Council.

My Classes cater for beginners and experienced artists alike. For those who are new to art, I will be covering subjects such as Tone, Form, Perspective and Colour. We will be investigating the ‘how to’ of landscape, still-life, and portraiture, and use a variety of mediums, with an emphasis on pencil, charcoal, and oil paints. I will provide the materials for the first five sessions.

For the more experienced artist the classes present an opportunity to work in a relaxed environment whilst sharing the evening with people who share your love for creating beautiful things.

If you can’t start on the 28th of January that isn’t a problem. You can start your classes at any time during the four school terms. Just let me know when you can attend.
